nel. Restaurant would definitely have made my list of top 5 eats of 2016 – if only I’d gotten round to putting up this post before the end of the year!
Excited to share with you one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve had in a long time – at Saint Peter in Paddington. I do eat out quite a bit and mostly I come away from meals going, yeah, that was pretty good. But after dining at Saint Peter I was literally like – WOW! I can’t wait to go there again! Everything was so good!
Yaaaaay it’s time for the annual Night Noodle Markets in Hyde Park again! Click through to see our recommendations on what to eat!
Nearly three years ago, JL and I first stepped into the original Yardbird in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. It was an incredible experience, dining at the bar and checking out all the action happening around us. So when I heard Yardbird were popping up in Sydney, I was super excited and couldn’t wait to show DS what it was all about!
Shame they are only popping up for a night…but here’s what we ate.
We rocked up to Cumulus Inc. on a Sunday morning with the view to having brunch there – we should’ve known better. Rocking up at 11am was also not the best idea, considering the breakfast menu only goes til 11:30am and lunch starts at 12pm! Thankfully the lady at the door told us to just come back at lunch time, she would take our names now and we’d be seated immediately when we came back.
I’m probably the only food blogger who hasn’t been to all the cool new restaurants in Kensington Street and Spice Alley…it’s always been a little daunting for me – if I go, I will want to eat at all the places all at once and obviously that’s not possible. So maybe just don’t go. Until I was luckily invited to Bar Chinois a few weeks back to try their food and drinks, finally I was able to go with a particular purpose, but also see everything that’s been happening over there.
It’s not every day that you get invited to eat at a restaurant that has been endorsed by the first female Thai Prime Minister herself!
