Acre is supposed the new ‘Grounds of Alexandria’ but in Camperdown. Don’t get me wrong – I like the Grounds, but I hardly ever go because the parking is atrocious, it’s always ridiculously packed and you always have to queue. So while it’s nice when I’m there, the thought of braving all of the above often scares me away from the place. I was bracing myself for the same kind of thing at Acre but was pleasantly surprised!

Cumulus Inc. – Melbourne CBD

We rocked up to Cumulus Inc. on a Sunday morning with the view to having brunch there – we should’ve known better. Rocking up at 11am was also not the best idea, considering the breakfast menu only goes til 11:30am and lunch starts at 12pm! Thankfully the lady at the door told us to just come back at lunch time, she would take our names now and we’d be seated immediately when we came back.

I don’t remember exactly where we heard about Industry Beans, but we heard it was good coffee, good food and a cool space, not to mention in the cool neighbourhood of Fitzroy, so we had to check it out.
