On a cold, winter morning, where the rain seems endless, you want something hearty, filling, and possibly very unhealthy to make you feel better. All of this can be found at Devon Cafe, located on the ‘other end’ of Devonshire Street (not the Bourke Street Bakery end), almost at the intersection with Chalmers Street. Don’t be deceived when you walk in and see the window bar seating as well as the long table all full – follow the corridor on the right to reveal some cleverly designed covered courtyard seating, and even the garage out the back made use of! Strategic warm heaters placed around the courtyard are also a bonus.
